Woe to those leaders, who make merchandise of the church, but feed not the flock! You build great buildings and estates at the church's expense to promote your agenda but do not bring the sheep closer to Christ. You exhort and encourage with emotion and words leaving the flock emotional, but unfulfilled because with no message from God they are not spiritually fed! Where are the healings, the deliverances, and the prophecies? Isn't the Kingdom of God not in word but in power? You look for admiration, respect and recognition, the best seats, and to be waited on and you love it so! Did not Christ Himself wash the feet of His disciples? You have become rich, live comfortably, wanting for nothing at the expense of the church, but you feed not the flock! Because you lack understanding and faith, you teach and defend doctrines that are not of the apostles, but are traditions of your church, designed to benefit your plans and goals. Because of your ways the sheep are scattered, separated, hungry, and powerless and are a prey for the beasts in the field. Do you search them out? Can you feed them? heal them? Will you show compassion? or do you have to like them first or must they meet your standards or criteria? You have become as hirelings who care nothng about the sheep no more than how much wool they can provide! You have, unknowingly, become so far from God that you rely on the arm of the flesh to make spiritual decisions because you have lost your spiritual discernment. If you are truly called of God to perfect the saints, you must not forget from whence you came, remembering that your relationship with God is most important also.
