Kingdom of God

The Kingdom of God and the Kingdom of Heaven are not the same. The Kingdom of Heaven is a place that you enter into and as Christ said, “That except your righteousness exceed that of the Pharisees, ye shall in no case enter in the Kingdom of Heaven” (Mat 5:20).  However, the Kingdom of God is a realm that having the Spirit of God puts you in.  I call it the power realm.  Once you have the Spirit of God (the Holy Ghost) you then have power and you are a “believer” according to the scriptures as Christ said, “He that believeth and is baptized shall be saved but he that believeth not shall be damned. And these signs shall follow them that believe, In my name they shall cast out devils, they shall speak with new tongues, they shall take up serpents, and it they drink any deadly thing it shall not hurt them, they shall lay hands on the sick and they shall recover (Mk 16:16-18).  Paul said, “For the Kingdom of God is not in word but in power” (1Cor 4:20).  Paul makes a declaration when he says, “And my speech and my preaching were not with enticing words of man’s wisdom, but in demonstration of the Spirit and of power (1Cor 2:4).  Paul makes it very clear that power comes with the Spirit of God.
